Following the update, the Federal Government has finally launched the Youth in Agribusiness Land Trust Fund (YiALTF) in Abuja, a major initiative to boost youth participation in agriculture, expand access to land, and modernise agribusiness in Nigeria.

Speaking at the launch, the Honourable Minister of Youth Development, @ayowisdom described YiALTF as a game-changing platform for youth empowerment, with integrated support including training, finance, technology, mentorship, and market access.

The programme will convert 42 Youth Development Centres into agribusiness hubs, train 6 million young Nigerians, and support 500,000 youth-led agribusiness enterprises nationwide.

Highlights of the launch include the presentation of #1 million grants each to 10 young farmers to scale up their agribusiness ventures.

The YiALTF programme is not just about land, it is expected to drive jobs creation, food security, entrepreneurship, and building a stronger future for Nigerian youth. Through this initiative, FG will transform Youth Development Centres across the country into agriculture hubs that will provide training, mentorship, technology, business support, and access to markets.
