FG launched Next Phase Of YouthCred, Extending Credit to 1 Million Youths
The Federal Government has launched the next phase of YouthCred for youth entrepreneurs extending affordable credit to 1 million economically active young Nigerians and reaffirming its commitment to ensuring that no young person with ambition is held back simply because they lack access to finance.
The Youths can now also access the YOUTHCRED for Entrepreneurs programme, offering loans of N200,000 to N2 million to support 500,000 young entrepreneurs across Nigeria.

Recall that On Democracy Day 2025, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in his speech affirmed that every hardworking Nigerian deserves access to structured consumer credit that expands opportunity and improves quality of life. On that day, he announced the phased rollout of the YouthCred" programme of the Nigerian Consumer Credit Corporation (CREDICORP) - beginning with NYSC Corps Members then expanding to all employed young Nigerians and now to youth entrepreneurs.
The expansion reflects both the scale of demand and the administration's commitment to unlocking opportunity for millions of young Nigerians through the country's most affordable structured credit. He emphasised .

- NYSC Corps Members
- Employed Youths
- Youth Entrepreneurs
