How To Check Your PMI Power Force Initiative Assigned Batch

If you applied for the presidential Metering Initiative training program, (Young Power Force initiative), this update is for you.The management has commenced updating applicants application status by grouping applicants into batches.

The PMI application has 4 processes which are:

1. Application Submission
2. Admission Review
3. Admission Outcome
4. Training & Certification

Applicants can now check their application status to confirm the batch they are assigned to . Follow the steps below to check your status:

a. Visit the PMI portal here https://pmi.naptin.gov.ng

b. Click the menu button located at the top right of the portal.

c. Login with your email and password to check your status.

If you are assigned to a Batch, it will show on the dashboard. There are beaches 1,2,3 at the moment.

If your status shows Batch Unassigned, do not panic as most application are being reviewed accordingly. It will change at the due time.

This program is initiated to end estimated billing, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and accelerating efforts to close the metering gap. Currently, there are approximately 1,000 certified meter installers, which is insufficient to address the estimated 5 million metering gap across the country. To bridge this gap and support the closure of the metering deficit within the next two years, the administration is training an additional 4,000 installers. Young Nigerians will be trained by National Power Training Institute of Nigeria and certified by Nigerian Electricity Management Services Agency to expand the national installer pool and unlock meaningful income opportunities for the trainees as they support large-scale meter deployment across the country.
