On today's Npower news: Are we still in or out? Npower disengage volunteers asked questions regarding the federal government mentioned of their name among the 16 opportunities for young Nigerians by the Buhari administration listed in the latest update by the presidency.
The first number on the list stated that N-Power: 500,000 enrolled in 2 batches between 2016 and 2020 receiving 30,000 monthly, with enrolment of 3rd batch of 400,000 in progress.
A solution that has left the disengaged Npower volunteers confused and are now asking whether President Buhari knows that the N30,000 stipends that his administration used to pay the 2016 and 2017 batches of N-power Volunteers have stop since July 2020.
The true situation on ground now, is that the disengage Npower batch A and B are still waiting for proposed transition program after being disengage since July this year.
The Minister of humanitarian affairs, Sadiya Umar Farouq have earlier advised the exited volunteers to be patient as the management is working on a transition programme for them.
