As we earlier discussed, the management of NSIP and the Npower programme has resumed payment of stipends to their beneficiaries. So Npower beneficiaries should also expect their outstanding stipends to be cleared soon.

You recall that in January 2023, we do update you that the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian affairs, disaster management and social development, fmhds Beneficiaries of the National Social Investment Programme (NSIP) storm Sir Tafawa Balewa Stadium, Bauchi State in their thousands to receive and thank His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari for sustaining the Programme.

This came as Nigerians are preparing for the 2023 general election which is scheduled to hold this month February 2023. In the previous election, the NSIP beneficiaries played a vital role in electing the current government.

NSIP is an initiative of the President Buhari administration created to remove 100000000 Nigeria from poverty in 10 years. The NSIP programme consists of the Npower programme, conditional cash transfer CCT, GEEP, and the National Home Grown School Feeding Program NHGSFP.

So far, 3 sets of beneficiaries have passed through the Npower programme since it was created in 2016. And These beneficiaries who are known as exited Npower beneficiaries are also expectant applicants of the Nexit programme and Npower work nation an initiative created to further empower exited Npower beneficiaries.
