In today's Latest Npower News For Wednesday 20th September 2023, the Npower beneficiaries have called on the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation Dr. Betta Edu, and also the new CEO of NSIPA in charge of the NSIP Programmes Mrs. Delu Bulus Yakubu to remember their unpaid N-Power stipends of 8 months.

The call did not end at that, their kids are also calling for the payment of their father's unpaid stipends as it also affects them. A picture of a little girl carrying a playing card with the inscription "Dr. Betta Edu please pay our father" is trending online.

Meanwhile, President Bola Tinubu has appointed Delu Bulus Yakubu as the pioneer national coordinator and chief executive officer (CEO) of the National Social Investment Programmes Agency (NSIPA) and she will be seeing the Affairs of the NSIP Programmes.

Furthermore, the Npower self-service portal is now functioning properly. Beneficiaries who are finding it difficult to validate their account can do so as the validation link is now functioning.

At this stage, the Npower beneficiaries are advised to be patient as the Ministry is rejiggering the programmes under NSIP which Npower belongs. Payment might also be reviewed upward or downward to include more people in the programs.

As regards Nexit Opportunity, there are rumors that new information will soon be given and even those who did not do the training will be asked to submit their business plan and favors will be asked from other companies that have given the training to give the untrained a certificate and give them a business plan to submit.

  3. In my case I Catarer trained by Npower NBuild cooking and catering batch C1 with a certificate. Till now no payment.Government is Rather punishing us

  5. It's quite unfortunate that our government, most especially the new Minister in charge of npower is doing nothing tangible to the owed stipends of the young ones that have worked. These people really don't mean well for Nigerian, especially youths. And I don't blame them since their children are not among the beneficiaries.
