CDCFIB Update On Deadline For Recruitment Portal Closure And Exam
Published: 4th November, 2025
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has released an important update for all shortlisted applicants. If you applied for any of the agencies under the CDCFIB recruitment exercise, please read this announcement carefully — it contains key dates and instructions about the next stages of the process.
Application portal closing: The recruitment portal will officially close on Friday, 7th November, 2025. Shortlisted applicants should visit the recruitment portal at recruitment.cdcfib.gov.ng to confirm their status and ensure their profiles are up to date before the portal shuts.
Online test schedule: All shortlisted candidates will take part in an exclusively online test. The test window opens on Wednesday, 12th November, 2025 and closes on Wednesday, 19th November, 2025. Note that previously allocated CBT centres have been discontinued—the recruitment test will no longer be held at physical centres.
Applicants who earlier updated their profile with a CBT centre are asked to return to the portal to select an online CBT date and time. The link for the online test will be published on Tuesday, 11th November, 2025 — check the portal on or after that date to obtain your examination link and slot.

Please make sure you have a stable internet connection and the necessary device (laptop, desktop or tablet) to take the online test. Carefully follow the instructions on the examination slip and the portal to avoid disqualification. Pay attention to any rules about identification, permitted items, and time limits during the test.
The Board emphasizes its commitment to conducting a smooth, fair and transparent recruitment process. If you have any concerns about your application or need clarification, use the official recruitment portal rather than social media rumours.
