NITDA iHatch Cohort 5 Hub Upskilling Programme 2026

The iHatch Hub Upskilling Programme is a nationwide capacity-building initiative of the ONDI under NITDA, designed to strengthen Nigeria's innovation ecosystem by equipping high-potential innovation hubs with advanced operational, technical, and investment-readiness capabilities. Now in its fifth cohort, iHatch adopts a proven train the-trainer model, where selected innovation hubs are intensively upskilled and supported to deliver structured incubation programmes to early-stage startups within their respective states. Through this approach, the programme decentralised innovation support, ensuring founders across Nigeria can access quality ecosystem infrastructure regardless of location.

Who is Eligible

a. Operated for a minimum of one year with a demonstrated track record

b. Demonstrate commitment to startup ecosystem development (measured by startups/initiatives supported)

c. Must have experience in startup support or innovation management

d. Physical infrastructure available for startup incubation activities
