The Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA) of Kenya has announced its 2026 recruitment Exercise. Established under Cap. 86 Laws of Kenya, the Authority's primary mandate is to provide civilian - oversight over the work of the National Police Service. IPOA is currently seeking results-driven Kenyan citizens with drive, vision, and creativity to fill several vacant positions. .

Application are invited in the following positions:

Available Positions

The Authority has announced a total of 32 vacancies across various departments. These include:

1. One Senior Accountant (IPOA 7)

2. Three Call Centre Officers II (IPOA 9)

3. Six Complaints Management Officers II (IPOA 9), and 

4. One Inspections Officer II (IPOA 9).

5. Two Monitoring Officers II (IPOA 9)

6. Nine Investigations Officers II (IPOA 9)

7. One Legal Officer II (IPOA 9), and 

8. One Research Officer II (IPOA 9). 

Additionally, there are openings for:

9. One Clerical Officer II (IPOA 12)

10. Four Drivers II (IPOA 12), and 

11. Three Office Assistants II (IPOA 13).

Mandatory Requirements

Successful applicants must meet the integrity requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. Candidates are required to provide valid clearance certificates from the following bodies:

• Higher Education Loans Board (HELB)
• Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC)
• Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
• Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
• Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI)
