Apply: NITDA Opens Research Call on Digital Technology Impact in Nigeria
The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) invites qualified researchers, experts, and institutions to contribute to a national study evaluating how digital technologies influence Nigeria's economic growth, sectoral performance, and digital readiness foundations.

The study forms part of NITDA's effort to strengthen evidence based digital economy policymaking.
Study focus will assess:
- Digital transformation across Financial Services, Government Services, telecommunications, retail/commerce, and health.
- Foundational enablers including broadband, digital identity, data centres, digital skills, and cybersecurity.
- National digital indicators aligned to international standards and future reporting needs.
Who should apply:
- Researchers and Experts with preferably a PhD in ICT, Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Computer Science, Data Science, Development Studies, or related fields.
- Applicants must have proven research and analytical capacity. The ability to demonstrate sectoral research experience, particularly in Fintech, e-government, telecommunications, digital commerce, digital health, will be an added advantage.
Required application documents:
- CV (max 4 pages)
- 1 page Statement of Interest indicating preferred sectors.
- Evidence of previous research work.

Engagement Terms:
- Short term, task based engagement aligned with Project Implementation Plan.
- Work under the Lead Researcher, Technical Steering Committee, and R&D Secretariat.
