Vacancy: FARA Cluster Leader Knowledge Mgt Digitalization Communication And Learning

The Forum for Agricultural Research in Africa (FARA) is the continental apex organization for agricultural research and innovation in Africa and serves as the technical support organization of the African Union Commission (AUC) and the African Union Development Agency (AUDA-NEPAD) on matters concerning food and agricultural research and innovation. FARA is seeking to recruit a highly qualified and experienced professional to serve as Cluster Leader - Knowledge Management, Digitalization, Communication and Learning.

Qualification

• Master's degree or equivalent in Knowledge Management, Development Communication, Information Science, Digital Media or a related discipline.
• A PhD in a relevant discipline will be an added advantage.

Experience

• A minimum of ten (10) years professional experience in knowledge management and development communication, with roles in supervising digitalization and organizational learning or a related field, with at least five (5) years in a senior leadership or management role.
• Proven experience establishing and managing knowledge management systems, digital platforms and organizational learning initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience developing and implementing organizational communication, branding and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent writing, editing and presentation skills, with demonstrated ability to translate complex scientific and technical information into compelling communication and knowledge products for diverse audiences.
