The management of NAQS has Releases Update On 2026 Recruitment Secret Training Accusations. The recruitment commenced with the online registration and application followed by the Computer-Based Test (CBT). Information on the progress of the exercise and subsequent stages was thereafter released to shortlisted applicants through their respective email addresses on how to undertake physical screening as part of the ongoing exercise.

The Service wishes to clarify that, considering the large number of applicants and the limited number of vacancies available, it is not possible for every applicant to progress through all stages of the recruitment exercise. Similarly, following the physical screening exercise, only applicants who successfully meet the requirements for that stage will proceed to the final stage of the recruitment process. Applicants who do not meet the requirements at the physical screening stage will, therefore, not progress further.

The attention of NAQS has, however, been drawn to misleading analyses and false narratives being circulated on online and social media platforms concerning the recruitment exercise. These include the publication of purported photographs of NAQS officers in incorrect uniforms, the circulation of alleged CBT questions that do not reflect the examination conducted, the creation of fake social media accounts in the names of officers of the Service, and other unverified representations. Such reports are capable of misleading applicants and members of the public and, in some instances, appear intended primarily to generate online traffic, gain popularity or chase clout.

The Service therefore urges content creators, bloggers and online commentators to verify information before publication and desist from spreading falsehood or relying on unverified sources. Members of the public are equally advised to obtain information concerning the recruitment exercise only through the official communication channels of NAQS. The dissemination of false information capable of causing unnecessary anxiety or misleading the public may and can attract legal consequences.
