Payment Of June Npower Batch A And B Volunteers Stipend To Begin Soon says Npower

For Npower batch A and B Volunteers who have been asking if and when Npower will pay their June stipend, we have some good news for you. Npower on its twitter handle commented that outgoing batch A and B volunteers will be paid June stipends.

This update is to calm down beneficiaries who may be thinking that their June stipends will not be paid and are disturbed by the announcement of the disengagement of veteran volunteers.

There is no cause to worry as Npower has responded to a question asked by a volunteer regarding batch A June stipend as seen in the embedded link above.

  1. Stop this type of comment, it looks childish. Are you going to feed yourself and your family as well establish and become an emloyer of labour to reduce unemloyment in Nigeria with N30000. I know your answer is no. What they are especing from the federal government is beyond paying such ampunt and disengage them without any tangible package to be self employed to boost the economy of the country to achieve the main objectives and goals
of the establishment of the program. Lack of prompt stipend payment has distabilzed the saving culture of beneficiaries. Batch B has not been given their device after so many promises. There have been delay in payment from October 2019 till date except May stipendwhich was paid on 31st May, 202. The little saving the beneficiaries had before this new minister came up to the scheme was spent on food transportation to PPA, house rent, family upkeep, covid-19 stay home total lockdown and other expenses since there were no any other source of income as all the beneficiaries were adviced not to be engaged in another job. The Government should ensure they accomplish their targeted missions of setting up Npower and stop the act of incoplete projects. Imagine the 500000 beneficiaries are financially empowered to be self emloyed and they also enloy five or mor people each systematically unemployment will be rapidly reduced to the barest minimal in Nigeria and there will be serious national growth and development allsp improves Gross Domestic Products (GDPs).

  4. The President should not listen to anyone whose mission is to frustrate the beneficiaries. As such i please want President Buhari to give devices to batch B and also do same to the beneficiaries for batch A. I sincerely advise the FGN through the President to please give both the beneficiaries of batch A and B permanent jobs in order to reduce crime rate, unemployment etc.in the country

  8. FG should not "kill" this Npower program with unrealistic policies. The minister should write her name in gold by championing the good of the Nigerian youths. Instead of recycling unemployment and "feeding from hand to mouth" programs, let there be sustainability and improvement. Imagine if the beneficiaries were paid well these few years.
