TVET Detailed Applications Received From Each States And FCT
The recently released TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) application statistics reveal the level of interest across Nigeria’s 36 states and the FCT. The data highlights how Nigerians are embracing opportunities to acquire technical and vocational skills that can boost employability and drive economic growth.

Total Applications Started: 1,329,250
Total Applications Completed: 963,496
Highest Applications: Kaduna – 90,059
Lowest Applications: Edo – 4,902

Top States by Applications
Kaduna leads the chart with a record-breaking 90,059 applications, followed closely by Kano (68,659) and Yobe (62,903). Other strong contenders include Katsina (55,023) and Borno (42,847), making them the top five states with the highest applications.
States with Fewer Applications
At the lower end of the scale, Edo recorded the least number of applications with just 4,902, while Cross River (7,293), Bayelsa (8,325), Ebonyi (8,207), and Delta (8,406) also had relatively fewer applicants compared to other states.
What This Means
The data reflects both the demand for vocational education and the awareness levels in different states. Northern states like Kaduna, Kano, Yobe, and Katsina are showing massive interest, while several southern states recorded fewer applications, pointing to the need for increased sensitization and outreach.
