N650,000 Prize Logo Competition: Sweden and Nigeria at 65

In 2026, Sweden and Nigeria celebrate 65 years of diplomatic relations - a partnership built on friendship, trade, and shared values. To mark this milestone, the Embassy of Sweden in Abuja invites artists and designers from both countries to join a Logo Design Competition under the theme: “Sweden and Nigeria at 65 – Building Tomorrow Today.” The winning logo will represent the anniversary throughout the year on official platforms and events.

What are we looking for?

  • A design that reflects 65 years of Sweden-Nigeria relations, with an emphasis on the future and in the spirit of Sweden and Nigeria at 65 - Building Tomorrow Today.
  • The logo must include the number “65” and the phrase “Sweden–Nigeria” (or “Sweden and Nigeria”).
  • Submissions should include colour and black-and-white versions, in a scalable vector format suitable for both print and digital use.

Your submission must include:

  • Logo files: (PDF, PNG, or high-resolution JPEG) named as: FullName_Country (e.g., AishaOkafor_Nigeria.pdf).
  • Signed Consent and Copyright Agreement: (see below).
  • Creator Profile: A short bio of the creator(s) (max 150 words) and an optional description of the design.

Important Dates

Winner announcement: 20 February 2026

Selection process

A jury composed of representatives from the Embassy of Sweden in Abuja, the Swedish Trade and Invest Council (Business Sweden) Office in Lagos, and Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Youth Development will select the winner.

Only entries in line with the submission guidelines will be considered.

Prize and recognition

  • First prize: 650,000 NGN (payable by invoice or in-kind).
  • Selected submissions will be showcased on the Embassies’ social media platforms.
