NDE Clarify RHEI Second Phase Beneficiaries Stipends Payment Complaints
NDE has released an update Following complaints from some trained beneficiaries of the Second Phase of the Renewed Hope Employment Initiative (RHEI 2) regarding training stipends, it has become imperative to clarify the following:

1. Training stipends are paid strictly based on training duration:
a. Trainings lasting 1 week to 1 month attract a stipend of ¥10,000.
b. Trainings lasting 3 months attract a stipend of 30,000.
2. Stipends are uniform across all 36 States and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
3. No beneficiary has been short-paid, as all payments were made in accordance with the approved training duration.
4. Any trainee with concerns regarding his or her stipend is advised, to contact the NDE State Coordinator in his or her respective state for clarification or necessary correction where necessary.

According to NDE, they appreciate the cooperation and understanding of all beneficiaries.
The RHEI initiative is a bold move by the Federal Government to drive youth employment, entrepreneurship, and inclusive economic growth.
