NSFAS Released Update On planned Disbursement scheduled April 2026. According to NSFAS, the purpose of this circular released is to inform institutions of the planned disbursement scheduled for the Beginning of April 2026 payments, as well as to provide clarity on when funds are expected to reflect in institutional bank accounts.

Disbursement Process And Timeline:

Following the processing of registration data received from institutions, the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) intends to release the University disbursements which includes tuition, accommodation (including private accommodation) and allowances on 1st April 2026

Institutions are kindly advised that, due to banking processes, the funds may only reflect in institutional accounts on 2nd April 2026

Registration Data Upload

Institutions are hereby reminded that 31st March 2026 will be the final day for the submission of registration data for the current processing cycle. All institutions are strongly encouraged to ensure that complete and accurate registration data for funded students is uploaded within the stipulated timeframe to avoid any delays in funding allocation and disbursement. Late submissions may not be considered for the current payment run.
