Current States That Pay And Doesn't Pay NYSC Corps Members

CURRENT STATES THAT PAY AND DOESN'T PAY NYSC CORPS MEMBERS, AS AT WEDNESDAY, JULY 4TH 2018

As NYSC 2018 Batch B registration draws closer, here is the full guide on how to choose the best paying states.

1. Anambra is the highest paying state, they pay 8,500 for the first 3 months, 6 months or towards the end of the service year. i.e 8,500 monthly. Anambra only pay to corpers serving in public schools and state ministries, anyway it's like that in all states that pay. Those serving in private establishments can also be paid only with negotiations with their employers.

2. Enugu state pays 1,000 naira every month to corpers in the town and 4,000 to those serving in villages.

3. Akwa lbom used to pay 10,000, but the current payment is now 5,000 naira monthly.

4. Kano started paying 5,000 monthly from 2017 with 2016 Batch 'A' Stream 1 and 2, they paid a total of 60,000 at the end of their service year. Kano state still pay corpers currently.

5. Taraba pays nothing.

6. Oyo pays 4,000 monthly.

7. Bayelsa pays 3,000 to those in town and 5,000 to those close to water monthly.

8. Kwara pays nothing.

9. Ebonyi pays nothing.

10. Bauchi does not pay anything. .

11. Abuja does not pay any allowance

12. Lagos pays 10,000 to the first 100 corpers to be registered.

13. Kaduna does not pay.

14. Ekiti pays nothing

15. Cross River does not pay. .

16. Sokoto pays 5,000 monthly.

17. Plateau doesn't pay anything.

18. Rivers pays nothing.

19. Benue pays nothing.

20. lmo does not pay.

21. 0ndo does not pay.

22. Ogun does not pay.

23. Yobe does not pay anything.

24. Adamawa does not pay.

25. Osun pays 5,000 for each month.

26. Abia pays nothing.

27. Delta pays 5,000 for each month. You'll receive up to 53,000 60,000 immediately at the end of your service year.

28. Kogi pays nothing.

29. Nasarawa used to pay 5,000 monthly, but currently, they are no more paying corps members, they stopped in 2017 and for that reason, about 3,000 corpers from the 2016 Batch & Stream 1 and 2 protested and still nothing has happened till date.

29. Borno pays nothing.

30. Kebbi pays 2,000 for each month at the end of the service year.

31. Zamfara pays 5,000 monthly.

32. Katsina pays 4,000 monthly.

33. Edo doesn't pay.

34. Jigawa play's 5,000 monthly

35. Niger pays nothing

36. Gombe pays nothing
