KADGIS Raises Alarm Over Unauthorized Land Sales At NNPC Quarters Kaduna

The Kaduna Geographic Information Service KADGIS has issues a warning to the General public on reports of ongoing land sales within the area knows as NNPC Quarters, Mahuta, Sabon Tasha, Kaduna.

According to KADGIS its notes that these actions contravene the agreed milestones under the granted Development Lease Agreement (DLA) and are inconsistent with the provisions of Sections 21 and 22 of the Land Use Act as well as Sections 28, 29, and 30 of the Nigerian Urban and Regional Planning Act.

As a result of that, KADGIS hereby informs the public that sach land transactions do not have the approval of the Kaduna State Government, and no valid land title has been issued or authorised for the said transactions.

Members of the public are therefore strongly advised to refrain from purchasing any land within the said area unless such land carries a valid Kaduna State Government title issued through KADGIS.

The public is further notified that any company, group, or Individual engaging in the sale or purchase of land within the NNPC Quarters area without the approval of the Kaduna State Government is doing so entirely at their own risk, as no title shall be granted by KADGIS for such transactions.

KADGIS therefore urges the public to exercise due diligence and verify all land transactions through the Service in order to avoid fraud, disputes, and financial loss.

This notice is issued in the interest of public awareness, transparency, and orderty land administration in Kaduna State.
