SASSA Announced Grant Payment Date For May 2026

In today's latest SASSA Grant Payment News, we will be updating you on SASSA Grant Payment Date for the month of May 2026. So keep reading!

The Management of SASSA has released the payment schedule for the month of May 2026. According to the schedule:

1) OLDER PERSON’S GRANTS will be paid from Tuesday, 05 May 2026. This includes any grants linked to these accounts:

2) DISABILITY GRANTS will be paid from Wednesday, 06 May 2026. This includes any grants linked to these accounts.

3) Children grants will be paid from Thursday, 07 May 2026

Important Message:

• e-Life Certification is a self-service digital platform that allows beneficiaries to complete their life certification from the comfort of their homes.
• This platform is accessible via the SASSA Online Services Portal, offering a user-friendly interface and secure biometric verification through the electronic Know Your Client (eKYC) system.
• SASSA social grant beneficiaries, who have the necessary means, are encouraged to use the self-service portal to perform e-Life Certification.

According to SASSA, there is no need to rush to withdraw cash on the first day. Once the money is in the account, it will remain there until it is needed.
