What is the current status of YEIDEP, and is the portal open for applications?

YEIDEP (Youth Economic Intervention and De-Radicalisation Programme) is an ongoing Federal Government initiative under the Ministry of Youth Development. It aims to tackle youth unemployment, poverty, and insecurity through grants (typically ₦50,000 to ₦500,000) to support entrepreneurship, especially in agriculture and allied sectors.

N-Power (the youth employment program) has been largely inactive or under review/reform in recent years. RHEI Phase 3 is active. The National Directorate of Employment (NDE) is rolling out this Tinubu administration initiative to provide skills training, employment opportunities, and empowerment for unemployed Nigerians, including graduates and unskilled youth.

GEEP offers interest-free loans up to ₦300,000 for farming inputs and activities (Dry/Wet Season support).
